Anchoring History

Being an anchor for EagleAir TV was an incredible experience. While I never expected to see myself in front of any camera, the opportunity has led me to seriously consider this as a future role for myself in my professional journalism career. It has also allowed me to express the fun side of myself in segments such as Eagle Wings, inspired by the YouTube channel First We Feast's famous serious Hot Ones, where I eat hot wings and ask questions to some of Nixa's most important people.

Working for the Harding Sports Network as a sports anchor as well as the baseball sideline reporter for the 2024 spring semester was the type of work I hope to go into as a sports commentator after I graduate. I have also dabbled in weather, and while it not be the most fun to be standing outside in the middle of a snowstorm, the experience makes it worth it as I hope to continue adding to a vast array of things I've been a part of.
